Our boxes are 3.5" tall and sized to hold most collectable cards in a protective sleeve. The sides are .25" thick, with a wide selection of woods available to choose from. Combining the many wood choices with almost limitless inlay/branding options lets you create a truly unique box.

Saki Bottle Honor Counters and Bottle Caps are Here!

Just in time for Christmas. Saki bottle honor counters are here, alongwith "bottle caps" to show off your clan pride. The counters are hand turnedso each is unique, then finished and woodburned to count from -20 to +59. Currently available in 6 woods (Maple, Ash, Walnut, Mahogany, Chery and Jatoba shown left to right). Also available in an extra wide "Saki Jug" version if you're concerned about it getting knocked around on a shaky table. Shown with optional bottle caps.

Show off your clan pride with a bottle cap. These caps fit onto the top of the saki bottle honor counters and are available in 12 colors, some of them laser engraved with a clan mon. Most of the colors are a metallic and have a great three-dimensional look to them. (The Phoenix is one, and the scan below doesn't do it justice). Starting at $1 ea, ($2.50 with a clan mon) they make for a great way to show your clan pride.

Want another color? These are custom cast and almost any color is possible. So contact us and we'll work with you. If you'd like a clan mon engraved in a different color than what we normally carry, let us know and we'll try to get it in with the next batch we do. We're also working on getting the other mons color filled. Available fill colors are white, black, red, green, gold, silver, and bronze.

Customize your box at our Web Store

We recently got some great additions put up on the web store .All the major clans are up there in finished boxes, along with as-yet-unfinished boxes that you can customize. So you can choose your box, upgrade to a sliding honor counter lid, and put your clan mon on it. You can even order extra lids so you can use one box for multiple clans.

More inlay options

With the return of mitered corners, a lot of new inlay opportunities are available. This is an example of a padauk box with an inlaid strip of osage orange. Other examples can be see in the gallery.

Introducing Dragonskin

We've recently been working on several new features, and are finally ready to roll out "Dragonskin". By dying lacewood green we create the look and feel of scales. Tilt it in the light and it shimmers. If you play dragon clan, you'll want one of these. Shown with an osage orange lid.

Mitered Corners are Back

We're pleased to announce that mitered corners are back. For woods wth highly figured grain, the smooth "wraparound" look that miters give is a great feature. It also opens up new inlay opportunities that we hope to have examples of soon.

DC Kotei Custom Box

This sliding honor counter box was the prize for the 2008 Washington DC Kotei. Done in Maple and Bloodwood with a pyrite inlay on the side and finished with oil.

Customcardboxes.com is excited to announce a new partnership with Flying Tricycle. The full range of engraving and artistic services offered by Flying Tricycle can now be added to your custom card box and combined with the services from custom card boxes.com. Our boxes have long been compatible with Flying Tricycle's honor counters, and we are already developing several exciting new features this partnership will make possible. Because details are still being finalized please check our website for updates or contact us to get a quote for your unique box. Here's a sample in hard maple (larger version for those with faster connections).

Here's a picture of a counter in a box along with 85 cards in sleeves. This box is just wider than the sleeve- a card laid flat would have a little wiggle longways but almost none shortways. So ideally, this is as narrow as our boxes will get. It's an easy fit with 80 cards, a snug fit with 85. And there'd still be space on top for extra cards or other gear.
